Although he is considered Britain's premier wandmaker, Mr. Ollivander nevertheless gives Harry the shivers. Thousands of wand boxes line the interior of his shop, but his window display is simple to the point of shabbiness.

the cores are always phoenix tail feather, dragon heartstring or unicorn hair.
